About the Role

We build thermal products and solutions, especially the Cooling Engine System and Cooling Engine Unit. This role is for a software builder who can turn cooling hardware, controls, sensors, test data, and engineering know-how into a practical all-in-one software application.

You will build software for real equipment used in semiconductor, AI hardware, automation, and test environments. The work covers PLC logic, UI/UX, dashboards, algorithms, data handling, controls, commissioning tools, and system integration.

We are AI-oriented in how we build software. You should be ready to use tools such as OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms to move faster, while still reviewing and validating code properly before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software for Cooling Engine System and Unit products, including automation control, operator UI, dashboards, data handling, and engineering tools.

• Build PLC / controls logic for cooling units, thermal systems, automation equipment, robotics, motion control, and test systems.

• Develop algorithms for cooling control, automation sequencing, test execution, fault handling, data processing, and system optimisation.

• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation; review and validate AI-generated code before real equipment use.

• Use GitHub for commits, branches, pull requests, issue tracking, code review, change history, and release discipline.

• Integrate software with PLCs, sensors, actuators, pumps, valves, chillers, heaters, safety interlocks, and industrial protocols such as ADS, OPC UA, TCP/IP, Modbus, or EtherCAT.

• Support system bring-up, debugging, commissioning, troubleshooting, validation, and clear software documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering with software exposure, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates are welcome, especially with strong school projects, internships, robotics projects, automation projects, hackathon work, personal projects, or open-source contributions.

• Hands-on interest in building software for real machines, hardware, thermal systems, controls, or engineering products.

• Interest or experience in at least two areas: PLC / controls programming, UI/UX or frontend, Python/backend/algorithms, robotics or motion control, AI-assisted software development.

• Familiarity with GitHub basics and willingness to learn proper pull request, code review, testing, and release workflows.

• Comfortable using or learning AI coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.

• Good problem-solving attitude, ability to learn quickly, and clear communication in English.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Beckhoff TwinCAT, IEC 61131-3, Structured Text, ladder logic, HMI/SCADA, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, or SQL.

• Experience with cooling systems, thermal test systems, cold plates, chillers, pumps, valves, heaters, sensors, PID control, or temperature control loops.

• Exposure to semiconductor equipment, AI hardware test setups, robotics, motion control, industrial automation, CI/CD, test automation, or release validation.
