Job Summary

Skud Technical is looking for a Cleanroom Performance Testing Engineer to carry out cleanroom performance testing works for cleanrooms, operating theatres, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor facilities, and other controlled environments.

This is a site-based technical role suitable for an engineer who is comfortable with testing instruments, cleanroom protocols, technical measurements, data recording, report preparation, and learning NEBB CPT and ISO 14644-aligned testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleanroom performance testing for cleanrooms, operating theatres, laboratories, and controlled environments
• Perform particle count testing, airflow testing, room pressure checks, temperature and humidity checks, and related environmental measurements
• Support HEPA filter integrity testing, recovery testing, air change rate verification, and cleanroom classification works
• Set up, operate, and handle cleanroom testing instruments correctly
• Review cleanroom layouts, test locations, room classifications, and project requirements before testing
• Record site readings, test data, observations, and supporting information accurately
• Identify and report abnormal readings, test failures, access issues, or site conditions affecting testing
• Coordinate with senior engineers, clients, facility teams, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams during site works
• Follow cleanroom protocols, gowning requirements, contamination control practices, and site safety procedures
• Support preparation, checking, and submission of cleanroom performance testing reports
• Maintain proper care of testing instruments, calibration records, site documents, and project files
• Carry out testing works in accordance with project requirements, company procedures, and relevant cleanroom testing standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Malaysian citizen
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Science, Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in cleanroom testing, HVAC testing, testing and commissioning, facility services, validation, QA/QC, or related technical site work
• Fresh graduates with strong technical interest may also apply
• Basic understanding of cleanrooms, HVAC systems, airflow, pressure differential, contamination control, or controlled environments is an advantage
• Able to work carefully with technical instruments and record readings accurately
• Comfortable working in cleanrooms, hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor facilities, and industrial sites
• Willing to wear PPE, follow gowning procedures, and comply with cleanroom protocols
• Able to read basic layouts, test plans, and technical documents
• Able to communicate with clients, contractors, facility teams, and internal project teams
• Willing to travel to project sites when required
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ISO 14644, NEBB CPT, IEST, cleanroom validation, hospital operating theatre testing, or pharmaceutical/semiconductor facility testing
• Experience using particle counters, photometers, aerosol generators, airflow instruments, micromanometers, temperature and humidity meters, or related testing instruments
• Experience preparing testing records, validation reports, cleanroom reports, or technical documentation
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, laboratory, or controlled environment projects
