Job Summary

Join our team as a PLC Engineer to design, program, implement, and maintain PLC-based automation systems, ensuring efficient industrial control and process optimization with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PLC-based automation systems customized to operational requirements to enhance process efficiency
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces to maintain reliable control system performance
  • Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal automation functionality
  • Install, configure, and maintain PLC and SCADA systems to support continuous industrial operations
  • Collaborate with engineers and operators to identify and implement process improvements for operational excellence
  • Ensure all automation systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment
  • Provide technical support and training to staff to enhance team competency in automation systems
  • Maintain and update detailed documentation, including system configurations and electrical schematics, for accurate records
  • Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to support system installation and maintenance
  • Apply knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus to integrate control systems
  • Utilize site experience to perform installation, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment
  • Manage data logging and reporting databases to support system monitoring and analysis
  • Apply basic electrical system knowledge to support troubleshooting and system integration

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages including Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD)
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA system development and design
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and provide technical guidance
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills applied to complex industrial automation issues
