Job Title:Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven Electrical Engineer tojoin our project team. This role requires a blend of design office capabilitiesand on-site execution engineering. You will be responsible for preparing andmodifying electrical engineering designs, analyzing single-line diagrams, anddrafting technical layouts using AutoCAD, while actively supervising physicalinstallation and commissioning phases on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD to develop, modify, and manage detailed electrical engineering shop drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Interpret, analyze, and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), power distribution schematics, and control circuits to ensure technical accuracy and design feasibility.
• Generate and review comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) and equipment technical data sheets based on design specifications.

• Supervise sub-contractors on-site to ensure all electrical works, LV/HV power distribution setups, and containment paths strictly match approved design drawings.
• Actively review site parameters to resolve layout clashes and technical design discrepancies between initial blueprints and physical space limitations.
• Witness and execute Testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedures, managing defect rectifications before final handovers.

• Ensure all electrical designs and installations fully comply with Singapore Standards (SS 638 / CP 5), BCA regulations, and relevant statutory guidelines.
• Prepare technical documents, method statements, and project progress reports for consultant or authority approvals.
• Complete, verify, and archive As-Built drawings and final T&C test logs.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and engineering within the Singapore construction sector.
• Minimum a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline (A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is highly advantageous)
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD (familiarity with BIM/Revit or ETAP software is a distinct advantage).
• Strong structural comprehension of low voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems and structural load calculations. (experience in MV and HV is highly advantageous)
• Clear technical communication skills, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
