About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team at Sheikh Mobile Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Kok Lanas, Kelantan. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical services and maintenance to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and reliably, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the success of our business.

Key responsibilities

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with mobile devices and related equipment

2. Perform repairs and maintenance on mobile phones, tablets and accessories

3. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

4. Document all technical work completed, including parts used and time spent on repairs

5. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair timelines, costs and technical explanations

6. Maintain a clean and organised work area with proper tools and equipment organisation

7. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures whilst carrying out technical duties

8. Support the team by assisting colleagues with complex technical challenges when required

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Technician or similar technical role in mobile device repair or electronics

2. Strong knowledge of mobile phone hardware, software and repair techniques

3. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment commonly used in the industry

4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting deadlines

6. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

7. Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions for extended periods

8. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electronics or mobile device repair (preferred)

9. Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in technical servicing
