Role Description The Quality Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Quality Engineer will oversee day-to-day quality activities, including establishing and maintaining quality standards for precision machining processes, conducting inspections and audits, and monitoring product performance. This role involves analyzing non-conformities, leading root cause investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to ensure consistent product quality. The Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements. The role also includes preparing quality documentation and reports, supporting certifications, and contributing to the integration of digital and Industry 4.0 tools in quality workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management to design, implement, and improve quality systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices to monitor, inspect, and validate product quality throughout production.
• Experience ensuring Product Quality in precision manufacturing environments, preferably in aerospace or semiconductor industries.
• Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent) and familiarity with statistical quality control and root cause analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations clearly.
• Proficiency with quality-related software and basic data analysis tools; experience with Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing solutions is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; relevant industry experience in precision machining or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
