Are you an experienced AS400 Developer looking to build your career in the Core Banking domain? We are hiring a Developer (Channels & EAI – AS400) to join a leading banking technology team in Kuala Lumpur.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Experience: 3–5 Years

Domain: Core Banking

Sub-Domain: Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 (L2) support for Channels & EAI applications on AS400.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and Java.
• Support payment systems and ensure reliable transaction processing.
• Work with DevOps practices to improve development and deployment processes.
• Manage software deployments using ALDON on AS400.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and drive system improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications and support activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AS400 (IBM i) and DB2.
• Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java development.
• Experience in L2 application support, incident management, and issue resolution.
• Good understanding of Channels & EAI applications.
• Experience with payment processing systems.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience using ALDON for AS400 deployment management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Core Banking environments.
• Knowledge of system integration and middleware concepts.
• Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of banking and payment workflows/regulations.

Supplier Note: Candidates with strong development experience will be prioritized. Experience in L2/L3 production support is an added advantage.
