Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Project Engineer will manage and execute engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and company quality objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical specifications, reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets. The role also involves overseeing installation and commissioning activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting the delivery of automation, valve, instrument, and industrial information solutions. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project engineering and electrical engineering skills, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess project management and project planning skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for engaging with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, or power industries, or related engineering environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices will be an advantage.
