The Role:

As an IT Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of insurance technology, designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with both business goals and modernization strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate complex insurance requirements into robust architectures, guiding teams through transformation initiatives spanning policy, claims, underwriting, and billing systems.

What You'll Do:

• Translate insurance business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions

• Design target-state architectures across life, general, and health insurance domains

• Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, data flow designs, and integration specifications

• Lead architecture governance reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and infrastructure teams

• Guide modernization and transformation programs, including legacy system decomposition

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data governance policies

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and project managers to align solution design with strategic initiatives.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and patterns for digital transformation.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or degree+ in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in a solution architecture role

• Strong domain knowledge in insurance: Life, General, Health, Bancassurance, and Takaful

• Hands-on experience with microservices, API-first design, event streaming (Kafka), and cloud platforms

•Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

•Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). o Integration platforms (API Gateway, Service Mesh).

•Database (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2)

•Familiar with ACORD standards and insurance regulatory frameworks.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines and Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and integration platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• TOGAF, Oracle, and relevant Insurance Domain certification.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Experience modernizing legacy platforms (e.g., AS/400, mainframes) to digital-ready stacks.

• Experience uplifting tech stacks to event-driven microservices (e.g., Java Spring to Spring Cloud/Spring Boot, NET Framework to .NET Core).
