About our client: Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering contractor in Singapore, specialising in large-scale M&E projects including data centres, industrial facilities, and commercial developments.
About the role:
- Reporting to the Business Unit General Manager, you will be responsible for managing M&E project execution, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to quality requirements.
- You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, main contractors, and other stakeholders to drive successful project completion.
- Lead and manage project teams comprising supervisors, workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Coordinate site activities, workflows, inspections, and progress meetings with main contractors and project stakeholders.
- Plan, implement, and monitor weekly work activities in accordance with project schedules.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quality standards, and material usage to meet project targets.
- Resolve site issues and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Manage preparation and submission of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material quantity documentation.
- Coordinate Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and resolve technical clashes prior to construction.
- Conduct and participate in toolbox meetings, safety meetings, and project coordination meetings.
- Plan and implement Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities.
About you:
- Diploma / ITC Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E construction projects in Singapore.
- Strong hands-on experience in managing M&E site execution, subcontractors, and project coordination.
- Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial, or large-scale building projects will be advantageous.
- Experience in MEP design coordination will be an added advantage.
- Possess Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) certification or other WSH-related certifications.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A team player with good initiative, integrity, and commitment.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Project Manager position.
