Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The Cloud Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for cloud solutions sales and providing on-cloud services to customers. The SA supports key public cloud or hybrid cloud projects through analyzing and gathering customer business scenarios, providing solution design, and ensuring that the solution is deliverable, replicable, and competitive. The SA ensures the achievement of revenue goals and customer satisfaction to promote continuous operation.

Job Responsibilities:

Solutions Architects are experts in technical solutions consulting, market insight and solutions planning, and technical project management and implementation.

1. Technical Solutions Consulting

• Establish customer relationships and manage expectations; understand the customer's business requirements, analyze their pain points, and provide guidance to ultimately improve customer satisfaction and build a win-win partnership.

• Provide high-level design and project consulting to support the customer’s cloudification

• Act as the core member of projects, take the lead in or participate in project negotiations, contract clause improvements, project transactions, and operation activities including dispute resolutions

2. Market Insight and Solutions Planning

• Obtain in-depth insights into the macro environment and industry

• Identify and implement market objectives and strategies and recognize digital transformation opportunities

• Build an ecosystem map for sales scenarios and industry segments, manage solution boundaries, and complete project cooperation and partner enablement

3. Technical Project Management and Implementation

• Convert customer’s business requirements into technical requirements and design reasonable solutions

• Streamline resources of Huawei Cloud’s internal departments and domains to support the development and pre-sales Proof of Concept (POC) and delivery of key projects.


Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years sales experiences in cloud related business.

• Requirement understanding and solution design capability: Be able to understand customers' business, business, and strategic requirements, influence customers' plans and budgets, and design solutions based on customer requirements, and comprehensively consider competition, profitability, and deliverability.

• Customer communication and guidance: Be able to influence customer decision-making supporters/decision makers, effectively transfer product and solution values, establish a good trust relationship with customers, and influence customer decision-making.

• Project operation capability: Be able to promote lead generation in projects, effectively convert to opportunities, develop solution strategies, implement solutions, and achieve project success.

• Transaction management capability: Be able to develop effective commercial strategies, manage base prices, and achieve project profitability targets.

• Industry influence: Understand the current industry ecosystem and have certain industry influence.
