About the Role

The successful candidate will manage and guide teams in designing, developing, and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions while acting as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and developers/testers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in technical programming.
• Provide strategic recommendations for business prioritization, roadmap planning, and ongoing product enhancements.
• Architect efficient, secure, adaptable, and scalable cloud solutions, focusing on Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Champion DevOps practices to enable continuous delivery and resilient, self-healing systems.
• Partner closely with Cyber and Security teams to embed security controls within all infrastructure designs.
• Develop proof-of-concepts to showcase the feasibility of innovative ideas and infrastructure advancements.
• Lead project deliverables across multiple workstreams, maintaining high standards of engineering discipline and quality.
• Promote and uphold Agile and Scrum methodologies in development processes.
• Apply sound judgment to balance infrastructure constraints with business objectives.
• Demonstrate the courage to advocate for what is best for the product, team, department, and company.
• Foster a culture of mentorship, supporting technical and professional growth within the team.
• Maintain a positive and resilient attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of relevant experience within Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), stateless distributed architectures, and designing for scalability and performance, especially within .Net, HTML5/CSS3, and WCF technologies.
• At least 4 years of experience with Azure with a proven record of designing and delivering high-volume, highly scalable, and performant solutions on large-scale globally distributed systems.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automation scripts to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) supporting large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
• Experience working with DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or similar tools for software delivery and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, including designing, implementing, and managing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using YAML, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or equivalent technologies.
