PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of Project Engineer (Electrical) is established to plan, manage, coordinate and monitor the overall execution of the Company's projects, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with client requirements, contract specifications, technical standards, safety regulations, cost control and the stipulated project timelines. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that each project achieves the Company's objectives through systematic project management, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and the delivery of work that is high-quality, professional and conducted with integrity.

SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To plan, manage and coordinate the overall execution of electrical, M&E, ELV, ICT and infrastructure projects from the planning stage through to final handover.
• To prepare and monitor project scheduling, including the Work Programme, Critical Path Method (CPM), S-Curve, manpower resource planning, material delivery schedules and project implementation strategies.
• To prepare, review and control all technical project documentation, including drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, method statements, HIRARC/JSA, technical reports and project handover documents.
• To monitor site progress to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with specifications, contractual requirements, safety standards, quality standards and the stipulated timeframes.
• To coordinate and manage working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and the relevant authorities, including TNB, the Energy Commission, JKR and other applicable agencies.
• To manage inspection activities, testing, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), final inspections and the project handover process to clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
