Job Vacancy: Field Control Engineer
Location: Putrajaya (HQ) & Project Sites

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Control Engineer to support the planning, coordination, monitoring, and execution of construction activities at project sites. The successful candidate will ensure site works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining effective coordination between the project team, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily construction activities at site.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding project execution.
  • Assist in planning site activities and resource allocation to meet project schedules.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
  • Identify site issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
  • Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies before work execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFI, inspection records, work permits, material records, and as-built information.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant authority regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, pipeline, or civil engineering projects.
  • Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites throughout Malaysia.
  • Possess a valid Class D driving licence.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following will be an added advantage:

  • Pipeline construction and maintenance.
  • Slope protection and stabilization works.
  • Earthworks and drainage.
  • Reinforced concrete and structural works.
  • Utility or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on projects for major clients such as utility, oil & gas, or government agencies.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
