Position : Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in baking - Support the baker in mixing, shaping, and preparing dough for breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked products.
• Ingredient Preparation - Measure, prepare, and organize baking ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, butter, etc.) to ensure smooth production.
• Baking Process Support - Assist with oven operations, monitor baking progress, and ensure products are baked according to quality standards.
• Decorating & Finishing - Help decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods following company recipes and presentation standards.
• Cleaning & Sanitation - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing utensils, trays, and equipment, and ensuring workstations are clean and organized.
• Stocking & Inventory - Organize ingredients, packaging materials, and baking supplies. Report low stock when necessary.
• Packaging - Pack finished products for retail display and customer orders while maintaining product quality.
• Equipment Maintenance - Clean and properly maintain baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, trays, and other kitchen tools.
• Recipe Compliance - Follow standard recipes, work instructions, and production procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Food Safety - Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Teamwork - Work closely with bakers and other team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Quality & Attention to Detail - Ensure baked products meet the company's quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

Job Requirements

• Malaysian citizen (Local applicants only).
• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Baking is an added advantage.
• Open for internship or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attitude, responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
