What You'll Do:

Data Engineering & Data Management

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to support risk monitoring, reporting, and analytics.
• Design and manage datasets, data marts, and reporting tables for risk use cases.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation from multiple data sources.
• Monitor data quality and resolve data inconsistencies and operational issues.
• Support the implementation of data governance, documentation, and lineage tracking practices.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams to improve data accessibility and reliability.

Risk Analytics & Monitoring

• Analyze transactional, customer, and operational data to identify risk trends, anomalies, and emerging threats.
• Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs), metrics, and monitoring frameworks.
• Conduct investigations and root cause analyses for fraud cases, risk incidents, and operational issues.
• Support the development, testing, and enhancement of risk rules, scoring models, and detection strategies.
• Evaluate risk control effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated monitoring solutions.
• Produce recurring and ad-hoc risk reports for management and business stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reporting deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and analytical processes.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Partner with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into analytical and reporting deliverables.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Support cross-functional projects related to risk management, fraud prevention, and process improvement.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Maintain documentation for data processes, analytical methodologies, and reporting frameworks.
• Support regulatory reporting, audits, and risk reviews through accurate and traceable data outputs.

Key Deliverables

• Reliable risk datasets and data pipelines.
• Automated risk dashboards and reports.
• Risk trend analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Data quality monitoring and issue resolution.
• Support for fraud, AML, operational risk, and risk management initiatives.

Role Requirements:

• Strong SQL and data engineering expertise.
• Experience with Python, Spark, Airflow, DBT, or similar data tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms (i.e. Alicloud / AWS).
• Experience with BI tools such QuickBI, Power BI, Tableau, or other similar tools
• Understanding of fraud risk, credit risk, AML, operational risk, or enterprise risk management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
