Role Description The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong. This position is responsible for leading engineering projects from concept through commissioning, including design review, technical calculations, and preparation of engineering documentation for water and wastewater treatment systems. The Senior Project Engineer will coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, while monitoring progress to ensure quality, safety, and budget compliance. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing contractors and suppliers, conducting site inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting system start-up and performance testing. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to continuous improvement of engineering standards, and providing clear communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills to oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Candidates should possess experience in industrial water treatment, process engineering, or environmental engineering projects, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs, and be familiar with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
