Job Overview
The Security Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all security operations to protect company assets, employees, clients, and premises.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Oversee day-to-day security operations at Plant located in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
- Manage and supervise security personnel, including scheduling & training
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident investigations
- Coordinate with external security vendors, law enforcement, and emergency services
- Ensure proper functioning of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.) with instruction from HOD
- Handle security incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations professionally and discreetly
- Prepare security reports, incident logs, and management updates
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company standards
- Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and professionalism within the organization
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
- Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Willing to work on Saturday
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
