Full Time IT System Engineer Jobs, in NTT Global Data Centers Selangor - Maukerja

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence across data center and enterprise environments.

This role requires strong technical knowledge across servers, virtualization, networking, operating systems, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving infrastructure improvement initiatives

Key Roles and Responsibilitie

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and operating systems.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system migrations, data centre deployments, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
• Enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
• Firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco
• Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Certifications :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related (or equivalent work experience)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
