Responsibilities
Job Details:
5.5 days week
Working hours: Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Sat 8:30 to 1:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Manages and supervises the drivers’ performance to meet customers’ orders
Manages the fleet of prime-movers, lorries and chassis to ensure availability and serviceability of the fleet to meet the demands of the daily operations
Performs timely and accurate updates to the job schedules using Portnet Plans and allocates/deploys drivers & vehicles for jobs and update the Transport Management System (or ‘TMS’) accordingly.
Ensures that the department is operational at all times during operational hours and as required.
Supervises and resolves operational problems encountered by drivers with customers or related agencies.
Training, coaching and development of subordinates.
Requirements:
Relevant 6 year’s experience in 3rd party logistics.
Candidate should possess min GCE ‘O’ Level
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Portnet an advantage
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English.
Team player
Able to start work immediately.
Remuneration:
$4,500 - $5,500
