Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Monitor, maintain, and support the hospital's IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, servers, and related systems.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and uninstall software and hardware as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage system backups, restoration processes, and support disaster recovery activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
  • Provide on-site assistance, guidance, and basic user training on IT systems and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance, support, and warranty services.
  • Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
  • Support IT infrastructure enhancement projects, system implementations, and technology upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, cybersecurity best practices, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to deliver effective IT services and support organizational objectives.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management, including tasks outside the IT function when required.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.


Experience

  • Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and hardware maintenance knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or system administration are preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment will be an added advantage.


Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop support, and server administration.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi, and VPN.
  • Knowledge of hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Understanding of backup and recovery procedures.
