Full Time Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer Jobs, in China Telecom Singapore Innovation Research Institute - Maukerja

About this Job

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software and device driver for embedded Linux systems, especially PetaLinux for AMD devices.
• Develop and maintain interfaces across multiple protocols (USB, PCIe, Ethernet) to enable communication and data flow across the system's various internal and external interfaces.
• Integrating software with device components in collaboration with hardware engineers, and using actual hardware platforms for software testing and debugging.
• Use tools such as Git to carry out code reviews and version control.
• Drafting documentation for testing and development processes.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong embedded Linux software development fundamentals
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python for embedded systems/drivers development and test using PetaLinux toolchains for AMD ZYNQ MPSoCs.
• Experience in supporting hardware bring-up or board-level debugging for embedded Linux systems
• A self-motivated mindset with a strong sense of ownership beyond defined responsibilities

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

• Experience with AMD ZYNQ MPSoC architecture and PCIe/USB interfaces.
• Familiarity with 5G NR physical layer processing chains such as LDPC/OFDMA/FFT etc.
