Position: Network Operations Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Term Contract (Directly with TCS)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Overview

TCS is looking for experienced Network Operations professionals to join its team in Kuala Lumpur. We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, network administration, system administration, and production support. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Provide L1/L2/L3 support for network, server, and desktop environments.
  • Support Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and problem resolution within SLA.
  • Perform network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
  • Support production systems and ensure high availability of business-critical applications.
  • Provide desktop support for end users, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform system monitoring, maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
  • Document incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and operational procedures.
  • Participate in shift rotations and on-call support when required.

  • Active Directory
  • Windows & Linux Operating Systems
  • Incident & Problem Management
  • Experience working in a 24x7 support environment is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Experience

  • 4–16 years of relevant experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
