Job summary

We are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented ELV System Support Engineer to provide remote and onsite technical support for ELV systems, highway intelligent systems and related software applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting system, software and basic network issues; monitoring system performance; responding to customer incidents; performing system configuration and preventive maintenance; and ensuring systems operate reliably in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience or interest in CCTV, Video Management Systems, ANPR, Access Control, highway AI systems, networking and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite technical support for ELV systems and related software applications.
• Troubleshoot software, system, hardware integration and basic network issues.
• Support CCTV, Video Management Systems, ANPR, Access Control, highway AI and other ELV systems.
• Monitor system performance, respond to incidents and follow up on customer support requests.
• Perform system configuration, software installation, upgrades, user administration and basic network setup.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning, integration and User Acceptance Testing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
• Prepare service reports, incident records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in site visits, standby and after-hours support when required.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, TCP/IP networking, and remote support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willing to travel for onsite support when required and possessed own transportation.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in ELV, CCTV, networking, system support, field support or technical support.Fresh graduates with relevant internship or practical ELV experience may also be considered.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to provide after-hours or standby support when necessary.

• Familiar with ELV, CCTV, networking or security systems.
• Patient and professional when dealing with customers.
• Proactive in following up on unresolved technical issues.
• Able to document troubleshooting steps and service activities clearly.
• Willing to learn new technologies, software and AI-based systems.
• Comfortable working in both office and project-site environments.
