Angular Developer (Senior)

Location: Penang, Malaysia (Onsite)

Start Date: August 2026

Contract Duration: 6 Months (extendable)

Experience Required: 7–8 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer to join our team in delivering enterprise-scale web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Angular, modern front-end technologies, and REST API integration, with experience working in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular, React, and Node.js.
• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
• Develop reusable components, libraries, and internal frameworks.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and ensure high code quality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD implementation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with modern technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• 7–8 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v13+).
• Strong experience with:
• Angular (v13+)
• ReactJS
• Node.js
• TypeScript
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• HTML5 & CSS3
• Experience developing responsive and scalable web applications.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration and JSON.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
• Ability to convert UI/UX mockups into responsive web applications.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Django backend integration.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Docker and cloud deployment experience.
• Performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
• Manufacturing or MES domain experience.
• Experience with GenAI development tools.
• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD.
• Experience with Confluence and Bitbucket.
• REST API development using NestJS or C#.
• UI automation testing using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working with distributed or global Agile teams is highly preferred.
