Role Description This part-time Solutions Engineer role is based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility to work from home. The Solutions Engineer will work closely with consulting and project teams to understand client needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and support end-to-end delivery across rail, renewables, and utilities projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and validating solution architectures, supporting integration between software and existing systems, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to proposals and presales activities. The role also involves collaborating with sales and consulting colleagues to demonstrate solution capabilities, responding to technical queries, and ensuring that implemented solutions align with performance, safety, and sustainability objectives. The Solutions Engineer will engage with stakeholders at various levels, helping to bridge business objectives with practical engineering and technology outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong software development skills with experience in designing, implementing, and testing technical solutions.
• Consulting capabilities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution scoping.
• Sales and presales experience, with the ability to support demonstrations, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Integration skills, including working with APIs, data flows, and connecting new solutions to existing systems.
• Relevant academic background in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience in rail, renewables, or utilities sectors is advantageous, as is familiarity with sustainable engineering practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across on-site and remote work.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
