Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant import/export documentation to avoid delays and penalties.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, shipping lines, and government authorities for smooth operations.
  • Prepare, review, and submit customs and shipping documents in accordance with regulations.
  • Monitor and improve documentation processes for operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients while supporting service expansion opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification; higher education is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or import/export operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in import/export documentation, including K1, K2, K3, K8, ZB1, ZB2, and permit applications.
  • Proficient in logistics and freight forwarding systems/platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities to handle documentation or clearance issues.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to generate and analyze reports.
  • In-depth understanding of HS codes, regulatory permits, and customs clearance processes.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to be based in Port Klang and occasionally work outside regular hours when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
