Responsibilities
Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise, and manage electrical engineering works for commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical systems installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
· Review electrical systems, including ELV/LV/MV power distribution, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.
· Prepare drawings, technical specifications, and material schedules.
· Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and workers throughout the project lifecycle.
· Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
· Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and workplace safety requirements.
· Monitor project progress, quality, budget, and schedule.
· Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
· Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
· Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
· Support project handover and prepare as-built documentation.
Requirements :
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
· Relevant experience in electrical engineering or construction projects.
· Knowledge of Malaysian Standards (MS), IEC standards, and SEB regulations.
· Knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office and Project is an advantage.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Willing to travel to project sites when required.
