Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience as a MySQL and MSSQL Database Administrator
- Solid understanding of SQL scripting and stored procedures
- Strong experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
- Experience using Azure SQL Instances preferred.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues in both Managed and Unmanaged Azure SQL databases.
- Experience in administering SQL Server in both Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
- Implement database security, backups, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for database issues.
- Solid understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability.
