C++ Developer (Full Stack)

Location: Penang, Malaysia (Onsite)

Relocation and visa fully supported

Contract: 6 months Extendable

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).

Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, SOLID principles, and industry-standard design patterns.

Develop scalable, multi-threaded applications with efficient memory and thread management.

Build and integrate backend services and collaborate on front-end development using Angular.

Integrate applications with enterprise systems through APIs and ensure seamless interoperability.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit testing frameworks.

Perform performance profiling, debugging, optimization, and defect resolution.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment, release management, and production support.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools while validating and refining generated code.

Required Skills

8+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong expertise in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).

Excellent understanding of:

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

SOLID Principles

Design Patterns (Factory, Observer, Strategy, Singleton, Command)

Strong experience with:

Multi-threading and concurrent programming

Thread synchronization (Mutex, Semaphore, Condition Variables)

STL and Boost Libraries

Data Structures & Algorithms

Memory management and performance optimization

Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit.

Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications, preferably MES or manufacturing systems.

Knowledge of API integration and system interoperability.

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to AI-assisted development tools.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.

Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.

Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation.

Understanding of UX/UI principles.

Manufacturing or MES domain experience.

Exposure to real-time or embedded systems development.

Experience supporting production environments (L3/Hypercare).

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
