Role Description The Technical Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. This role involves providing technical support to customers, including diagnosing issues, performing troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions for equipment, systems, or software. The Technical Service Engineer will handle service requests, conduct site visits, document findings, and prepare reports on technical issues and resolutions. The role includes collaborating with internal teams to escalate complex problems, support product improvement, and assist with testing or commissioning when required. The Technical Service Engineer will also communicate clearly with customers, provide guidance on product usage and maintenance, and ensure all work complies with company standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support skills, with experience in maintaining and servicing equipment or technology solutions.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams, including report writing and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, or specifications; familiarity with standard tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple service tasks, and prioritize workload safely and efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and participate in ongoing training; prior experience in a field service or technical support role is an advantage.
