Full Time Procurement Engineer Jobs, in ATW Technology Shah Alam - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• Clarify machined parts procurement and supplier development requirements, identify and evaluate potential machining suppliers, develop qualified suppliers according to the supplier development process, and ensure timely onboarding of suitable suppliers.
• Responsible for the sourcing, planning, and management of machining supplier resources, including CNC machining, fabrication, precision components, and metal parts, while maintaining strong daily supplier relationships.
• Manage supplier performance for machined parts, including quality, delivery lead time, cost competitiveness, technical capability, and continuous improvement activities.
• Handle RFQ, quotation comparison, cost analysis, and price negotiation for machined parts and related materials to optimize procurement cost and supplier resources.
• Analyze procurement cost structure, machining process costs, material usage, market trends, and supplier quotations to achieve cost reduction and cost control targets.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Project teams to review technical drawings, specifications, machining requirements, and ensure supplier capability meets project needs.
• Identify and analyze potential risks in the machined parts procurement process, including capacity, quality, delivery, and technical risks, and implement effective tracking and control measures.
• Monitor supplier production schedules, machining progress, and delivery status to ensure on-time delivery and stable supply performance.
• Support new project sourcing, localization activities, and supplier development initiatives for machined components and mechanical parts.
• Complete organizational objectives and other assignments delegated by superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Background
2. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
3. Familiarity with the industry and a solid understanding of the company’s products and technical requirements
4. 0-3 years experience in similar industry. Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation processes, price negotiation strategies, and supplier relationship management
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in SAP or other ERP systems
6. Strong sense of initiative, accountability, and proven execution capabilities
