We're Hiring: EDP (Electronic Data Processing) — Pelabuhan Klang

About SC (Soon Cheong)

Started in 1985 as a small morning market stall, SC is now a fresh produce importer and retailer across Malaysia. We run SC Neighbourhood Market (retail stores) and SC Wholesale (import & distribution). Our goal: reliable, fresh food and daily essentials for the community.

The Role

Full-time, on-site in Pelabuhan Klang. You'll manage the computer systems that keep our stock, purchasing, and sales running smoothly.

Daily work:

• Key in and check data
• Update system records
• Pull and read simple reports
• Fix basic computer/hardware issues
• Work with operations and management to keep data accurate
• Help with system updates

What We're Looking For

• Fresh grads welcome — as long as you're computer savvy
• Good with numbers and spotting errors in data
• Basic understanding of computers/electronics (a plus)
• Clear communicator, works well with a team
• Some experience with data entry, POS/ERP systems, Excel, or databases (nice to have)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, can work on-site with minimal supervision
• Willing to learn AI tools like Claude Code — big plus point!

Preferred: Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or similar. Not a must if you're sharp and eager to learn.
