The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the governance, administration and continuous improvement of engineering information, technical documentation and manufacturing systems to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee the Engineering Technical Library, ensuring the effective control, maintenance and lifecycle management of OEM and internal engineering technical documents.
• Administer and enhance engineering systems, including SAP, MES and other digital platforms, to ensure system reliability, availability and optimal performance.
• Govern Engineering Master Data to ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of engineering data across enterprise systems.
• Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, testing, licensing, vendor management and user support to meet business and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT and external stakeholders to implement system improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering governance, regulatory requirements and document control standards while supporting business continuity.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance engineering systems, data management processes and operational efficiency.
  
  

Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. Certification or formal training in ERP/MES systems, project management or digital transformation will be an advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in engineering systems, manufacturing systems, digitalisation or technical operations support.
• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, ERP or other engineering/manufacturing business systems.
• Experience in engineering master data management, system administration, technical documentation control and engineering data governance.
• Proven experience in system implementation, enhancement, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user support.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, cross-functional teams and business users to deliver system enhancements and process improvements.
• Good understanding of manufacturing, engineering or aerospace MRO business processes.
• Knowledge of system integration, data governance and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and effectively manage critical engineering systems.
