Job Summary

Support accounting operations by processing payment transactions, resolving discrepancies, monitoring aging reports, and assisting month-end closing to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup support to the Account Manager for clerical functions to maintain smooth accounting operations
• Assist in month-end closing procedures to meet monthly financial deadlines
• Support accounting projects by performing assigned tasks to contribute to project completion
• Process a high volume of payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Independently research and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records
• Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Aging reports and track days sales outstanding to manage cash flow
• Obtain and email invoice copies and statements to customers as required to support billing inquiries
• Match invoices against purchase orders and investigate any price or quantity discrepancies with the purchasing department to ensure correct payments
