Customs Declaration Import / Export

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit import/export declarations, permits, and other required documents to customs authorities.
• Ensure full compliance with customs procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements — including tariff codes, licenses, permits and other applicable laws, including electronic declaration.
• Determine the correct amount of duties, taxes, and other fees associated with import and export shipments.
• Liasing with Customs and other relevant agencies to facilitate clearance of goods.
• Provide guidance on Customs procedures, documentation requirements, and other related matters.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs-related transactions and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the clearance process.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 -3 years of relevannt expereince in customs declaration within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations and experience handling decarations under MIDS, SST and FTA
• Familiar with customs systms (eg Dagangnet) and import/export documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Bandar Botanik, Port Klang
