About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot to join a project delivering enterprise-grade systems for a major insurance client. This is a backend-focused role, ideal for someone who wants to go deep on Java microservices and enterprise architecture without needing full stack ownership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar) and distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-grade solutions
• Support system performance, reliability, and data integrity across services

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development
• Solid understanding of REST API design, microservices architecture, and relational databases
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
• Exposure to AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, or EKS) is a strong plus
• Prior experience in banking, insurance, or fintech domains is a bonus
• Angular or frontend experience is a nice-to-have, not required
