We are looking for an BW Analytics Lead for our pharma client.

Role: BW Analytics Lead

Start: ASAP

Duration: 1 year+ extension

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Onsite: Hybrid 2-3 days/Onsite

Language: English

Workload 5 days a week

The Role:

Overview Lead the analytics workstream for a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation (2027–2030), delivering analytics strategy, governance, and execution across reporting migration, cloud data lake modernization, and dashboard transformation. Ensure reporting continuity throughout phased S/4 deployments by coordinating cross-functional dependencies with internal teams and

AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the analytics strategy, migration principles, and governance framework aligned with S/4 rollout phases.
• Lead migration of SAP ECC/BW reports to a cloud analytics platform, ensuring quality, performance, testing, and business prioritization.
• Drive cloud data lake migration strategy and execution, aligning data readiness with S/4 milestones in partnership with AWS.
• Oversee dashboard retrofit and repointing to support cutover, hybrid operations, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Manage delivery planning, cross-stream dependencies, release management, and governance across analytics, data, and reporting workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in analytics delivery for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Expertise in SAP ECC/BW, cloud analytics platforms, and AWS data lakes.
• Strong background in strategy, governance, delivery planning, and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading complex, multi-year, phased transformation.
