Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at perunding hashim neh is a full-time, on-site position based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and review mechanical systems and components for building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and models using CAD tools, performing calculations and simulations, and supporting machine and system design activities. The role also involves coordinating with project teams, attending site visits and meetings, contributing to R&D initiatives, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to real-world projects.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for developing and reviewing mechanical components and systems.
• Experience or familiarity with Project Management, including planning tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capability in Research and Development (R&D), including investigating new technologies, materials, and design approaches to improve solutions.
• Fresh Graduate /Diploma / bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have driving license
• Open to Malaysia citizens only.
• Salary Range RM2,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
• Working Experience 2 to 5 years
• Registered with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia)
