Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with around 1–3 years of experience are also welcome
- Basic understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and project accounting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic quantity surveying software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working with project managers, site teams, and suppliers
- Knowledge of local construction practices and regulations is an advantage, but training will be provided for fresh grads
- If you have done internships, final-year projects, or site training related to construction, tendering, measurement or contracts, do highlight these in your CV, they are highly relevant to this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) under guidance from senior QSs
- Assist in contract administration, including coordination with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs and highlight cost-saving opportunities to the project team
- Help prepare progress claims, final accounts, variations, and other claims
- Provide commercial and contractual support to site and project teams
- Ensure work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Support cost control strategies to improve overall project profitability
