Role Description

The System Technician role at Fix & Go - IT Specialist is a contract, on-site position based in Bandar Baru Bangi. The System Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform routine and corrective maintenance, and carry out repairs on desktops, laptops, network devices, and related equipment. Responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring system performance, and documenting work performed. The role also involves providing technical support to end users, explaining solutions in clear terms, and delivering basic training or guidance on system use and best practices. The technician will collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure minimal downtime and consistent service quality for clients.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify, analyze, and resolve system and user issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair capabilities for hardware and software, including installing, configuring, and restoring IT equipment.
• Candidates should possess Training abilities to guide users on proper system usage, basic issue resolution, and best practices in IT safety.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are beneficial.
• Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi), and common office applications is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi are preferred.
