SCOPE
To support the effective planning, coordination, implementation, and administration of the hotel's Learning & Development function, ensuring employees receive quality training in line with operational, brand, and compliance requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning & Development
- Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the hotel's annual Learning & Development programmes.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and assist in developing the annual Training Plan and Training Calendar.
- Facilitate hotel orientation, mandatory, and operational training programmes.
- Support and monitor departmental trainers to ensure training is effectively conducted and documented.
- Maintain accurate training records, reports, and learning documentation.
- Source and coordinate external training programmes, cross-training, and employee development initiatives.
Compliance & Administration
- Coordinate statutory and mandatory compliance training, ensuring timely completion by all associates.
- Manage HRD Corp grants, claims, and related documentation in accordance with requirements.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual training budget.
- Coordinate training logistics, materials, facilities, and participant communications.
Internship Management
- Coordinate the recruitment, placement, orientation, and performance monitoring of interns and industrial trainees, while maintaining liaison with educational institutions.
General
- Maintain training facilities, equipment, and learning resources.
- Ensure all Learning & Development activities comply with hotel policies and safety requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in facilitating training programmes and coordinating learning initiatives.
- Good knowledge of training administration, learning records, and HRD Corp requirements would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and training activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and training-related systems.
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about employee development and continuous learning.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with department heads and internal stakeholders.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
