We are expanding our team and hiring an Intermediate Level SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team in Kuala Lumpur office.

As part of the SQL Server consultant team, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing client's SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will also be involved in support capacity planning, troubleshooting and applying best practices to strengthen database servers.

Qualification Requirement:

Candidate with less than required minimum hands-on experience and academic qualification for the role must possess at least a Microsoft Certification issued by Microsoft such as "Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate MCSA and Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)

Qualification, Skill & Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator / Management.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

- Proficiency in SQL Server database administration, query optimization, backup and disaster recovery strategies

- Extensive experience in real-time database monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing security measures

- Solid knowledge of database security, compliance and data integrity best practices

- Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate and well-structured technical documentation and reports.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to communicate with client at any level confidently.

- Familiarity with AI, automation, and machine learning in database optimization (an advantage)

- Self-motivated pursuing knowledge and capable to work independently without constant supervision.
