ASISSTANT SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Engineer to support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of SCADA systems. In this role, you will design and configure user-friendly, animated SCADA screens to ensure accurate and clear information display, as well as interface IO points with field controllers. You will also plan and conduct software testing, analyze log files, and assist in implementing technical fixes, patches, and upgrades. This position requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure the timely delivery of assigned tasks while maintaining high technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide system configuration

• Perform troubleshooting and production support at customers’ sites

• Use designer tools to define delightful, animated, user-facing SCADA screens, so that information is shown correct, easy to read and find. Use configuration tools to configure IO points to interface with field controllers.

• Plan and perform in-house/on-site software testing activities, retrieve and analyze log files, as well as assist in implementing technical fixes, patches, upgrades.

• Assist in implementing technical fixes, patches and upgrade

• Knowledge in network and cybersecurity.

Prerequisites:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Science or Engineering

• Good knowledge in computer network

• Hands on experiences with C/C++ and scripting in Windows and Unix environment

• Hands-on knowledge  and experiences with MSSQL and Report Services

• Team player with good communication skills

• Able to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels and cultures, and provide timely delivery of assigned work.
