Role Description The Risk Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role involves assessing and analyzing risks across commercial insurance portfolios, particularly for industrial, services, financial, and construction sector clients. The Risk Analyst will review client operations, examine financial and statistical data, and prepare risk assessment reports and recommendations. The role includes collaborating with internal teams and insurance providers, supporting the development of tailored risk management and insurance solutions, and monitoring risk exposures over time. The Risk Analyst will also assist in presenting findings to clients and maintaining accurate documentation to support decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Risk Analysis capabilities to evaluate business exposures and insurance needs.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Finance to interpret financial statements and support risk-related decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess a good foundation in Statistics to analyze data, identify trends, and quantify risk.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present risk findings and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and insurance providers.
  • Relevant academic background in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in insurance, commercial risk assessment, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and analytical tools, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
