Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise application systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, vendors, and internal teams to deliver reliable software solutions while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve software development efficiency, data processing, and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise application systems.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements with users and stakeholders.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business users throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Deliver development tasks within agreed timelines.
  • Implement service requests and system enhancements for internal applications.
  • Provide technical support to internal IT teams and external customers.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Apply AI/ML technologies to enhance data processing, predictive analytics, and intelligent reporting.
  • Optimise ETL processes and reporting workflows using AI-enabled solutions.
  • Ensure the secure and responsible use of AI technologies in compliance with IT governance and cybersecurity policies.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and application support.
  • Strong programming experience in:Oracle PL/SQLC#.NETPythonWindows/Linux scripting
  • Experience in ETL development and Data Warehouse implementation.
  • Knowledge of the Software System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong SQL and database knowledge.
  • Experience gathering and analysing business requirements.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code).
  • Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, or intelligent data processing.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern software development practices.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled reporting or automation solutions.
