Full Time Optometrist Jobs, in UTAR HOSPITAL Perak - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations (VA, refraction, slit lamp, tonometry, fundus evaluation).
• Diagnose and manage refractive errors and minor ocular conditions.
• Detect early signs of ocular diseases and refer cases to Ophthalmologist when required.
• Perform contact lens fitting and provide aftercare services.
• Provide patient education on eye health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in hospital screening programmes and outreach activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or equivalent.
• Registered with Malaysian Optical Council (MOC).
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (Fresh graduates may be considered).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
