Genitronic (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a leading electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated PCB Technician to join our team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will support PCB/PCBA production activities, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, quality output, and efficient troubleshooting on the production floor.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting PCB assembly (PCBA) production processes including SMT and DIP operations
• Assisting in PCB inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting of production issues
• Carrying out PCB rework, soldering, and repair activities when required
• Monitoring production quality and reporting abnormalities to engineers or supervisors
• Supporting setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment and tooling fixtures
• Ensuring adherence to work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards
• Working closely with engineers and production teams to resolve daily technical issues
• Assisting in documentation of production records and quality reports

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in PCB/PCBA manufacturing environment (SMT/DIP preferred)
• Familiar with PCB assembly processes and basic electronic components
• Able to understand basic PCB drawings, assembly instructions, and work procedures
• Hands-on experience in soldering, rework, and basic electronic troubleshooting
• Understanding of SMT and DIP production flow and common defects
• Basic knowledge of PCBA equipment operation and maintenance is an advantage
• Language: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong attention to detail, responsible, and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team
