The Role
The primary focus of this position is the verification and analysis of datasets related to the expansion projects of our client. You will spend your time reading internal reports, checking data integrity, and identifying gaps in the information provided. Every day, you will be expected to synthesize complex information into brief, precise internal notes. You will assist our principals by tracing every data point back to its source, ensuring that the assumptions used in our strategic counsel are original and verified. Because the firm avoids the use of presentations, your ability to communicate findings through plain, direct prose is the most important part of your daily work. You will also be responsible for maintaining organized digital records of your analysis to support the drafting of final memoranda.

What You Bring
We are looking for individuals who possess an undergraduate degree in a field that requires high levels of analytical discipline, such as economics, finance, mathematics, or the social sciences. As this is an entry level role, we do not require a long history of professional experience, but we do require intellectual maturity and a high standard of written English. You should have a basic understanding of how to interpret data sets and a healthy skepticism toward unverified claims. A working knowledge of common analytical tools, such as spreadsheet software, is necessary to perform the technical aspects of the role.
