The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and implementation of enterprise data and analytics platforms for corporate strategy and mandate-driven initiatives.

The role focuses on enabling data integration, enterprise analytics and insight-driven dashboarding capabilities, ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organisational and stakeholder requirements.

This position will support the evolution and optimisation of enterprise cloud-based analytics platforms ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business and organisational requirements

Job Description

The role is responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering data warehouse, analytics, and business intelligence solutions across the full lifecycle
• Supporting solution architecture and translating approved designs into implementable components
• Designing and developing data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related tools/solutions
• Building and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and related analytics tools/solutions
• Enhancing data models, system performance, and existing data structures to optimise efficiency, scalability, and reliability of data solutions
• Leading and guiding cross-functional team members, while managing delivery timelines, dependencies, and risks, and maintaining appropriate technical documentation to support delivery and ongoing operations
• Ensuring adherence to coding standards, version control, and DevOps practices
• Supporting testing activities (unit, SIT, UAT) and overall quality assurance
• Providing technical guidance and support to the team
• Executing solutions in alignment with defined architecture and standards

Education & Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in BI / data warehouse / analytics development
• Experience across end-to-end BI or data warehouse lifecycle
• Strong knowledge in data modelling and analytics solution implementation and delivery
• Experience in project delivery and leading cross-functional teams

Technical Competencies

Core (Must-Have)

• Strong foundation in Azure PaaS environment, including understanding of landing zone and cloud governance concepts
• Experience in data engineering (ETL/ELT, pipelines, integration) using ADF, SQL and related technologies
• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures and optimisation
• Experience with SSIS and working in hybrid/cloud environments
• Experience in Power BI, DAX and related analytics tools/solutions
• Experience with SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional models)

Added Advantage

• Experience with PowerShell for automation
• Exposure to C# or similar programming languages
• Knowledge in Data Science or Data Governance concepts

This role is suited for a hands-on Analytics Architect with strong implementation and delivery capabilities, who can lead technical delivery, coordinate teams effectively and support the organisation’s ongoing cloud and analytics platform optimisation and maturity.
